About Us
At Your Sisonke, we focus on helping youth through quality education, necessary skills training, and valuable mentorship.
Our Story
Sisonke Trust was founded in 2017 with a powerful vision—to transform the lives of young people in Africa. Dr. Nyika-ino Muyambo, our founder, was deeply moved by the struggles of youth in both rural villages and townships, where the lack of mentorship, guidance, and life skills often led to missed opportunities and lost potential.
With a burning passion for change, he established Sisonke Trust to provide young people—especially boys and girls from underserved communities—with the support, education, and psychosocial life skills they need to thrive. Recognizing that many youth lacked role models to inspire them, Dr. Muyambo set out to create an organization that would break barriers, reshape mindsets, and equip the next generation with the tools for success.
Today, Sisonke Trust is a beacon of hope, offering mentorship, educational support, career guidance, and skills training. Through our work, we are shaping confident, educated, and empowered young leaders who will drive change in their communities and beyond.
Join us in our mission to uplift Africa’s youth—because their future starts now!
